TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE BREWIN DOLPHIN VIKING CRUISE PRIZE DRAW

  1. This prize draw is organised by Brewin Dolphin Limited (“Brewin Dolphin” or “we”) of 12 Smithfield Street, London, EC1A 9BD, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (registered number 124444). By entering this prize draw, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
  2. The prize draw will be available for entry from 1 April 2019 (“Opening Date”) to 11:59pm 30 September 2019 (the “Closing Date”).
  3. To enter the prize draw please complete the hard copy or online form. Entries must be made online via the official online form.
  4. There is a limit of only one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person or bulk entries are not allowed.
  5. All entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified. In addition, any incomplete entries will also automatically be disqualified.
  6. Brewin Dolphin cannot accept any responsibility for entries not successfully completed, submitted or received due to a technical fault of any kind or if for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs. We will also not be able to accept proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the prize draw.
  7. The prize draw is free to enter and is open to all UK residents aged 18 years and over, except employees of any Brewin Dolphin group company, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of the prize draw as well as members of their families.
  8. The winner will be the first entrant selected at random by an independent person within five working days of the prize draw Closing Date. There will be one winner selected.
  9. Prizes are subject to availability and must be accepted as offered. No cash alternative to prizes will be offered and the prize is not negotiable or transferable. However, we reserve the right to substitute a prize with an alternative of equal or greater value should circumstances make this necessary.
  10. The prize is an eight-day Romantic Danube river cruise with Viking. The prize includes return scheduled economy flights from the UK, flying from a choice of up to 14 regional UK airports; 8 days accommodation aboard a Viking Longship; 6 guided tours; all meals and drinks as stated in the itinerary; all port and airport taxes; all overseas transfers.
  11. The holiday must be taken before 31 December 2020. The holiday is available to be taken on selected dates subject to availability. Validity of the prize cannot be extended.
  12. The prize offered is for two people sharing a minimum B-grade stateroom. This is subject to change at the discretion of Viking Cruises.
  13. Prize Winner and companion are responsible for their own transportation to and from the UK airport and any other associated travel expenses and arrangements not specifically included in the prize.
  14. Travel insurance and gratuities are not included in the prize. Any other expenses incurred during or in relation to the holiday will be the responsibility of the prize winner and their companion.
  15. Prize is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  16. The Prize Winner will be responsible for ensuring that they and their travelling companion are available to travel and hold valid passports, any necessary visas and travel documents for the holiday on the travel dates specified, and, where necessary, for obtaining appropriate vaccinations and inoculations.
  17. It is strongly recommended that travellers take out adequate travel insurance if recommended to do so by Viking Cruises. . Insofar as permitted by law, we cannot and do not accept any liability or responsibility for any loss, damage or injury suffered during or in relation to the holiday, including where such loss or damage is due to failure to of the prize winner and/or their companion to obtain appropriate travel documents, vaccinations or inoculations, or to take out adequate travel insurance.
  18. Neither Brewin Dolphin nor Viking Cruises are responsible for unforeseen cancellations.
  19. Booking with Viking Cruises in advance is essential. Your preferred date of travel is subject to availability as determined by Viking Cruises.
  20. Neither Brewin Dolphin nor Viking Cruises will be responsible for the unforeseen cancellation of the holiday due to circumstances beyond our/their control.
  21. Viking Cruises reserves the right to substitute an alternative cruise of a similar value due to any unforeseen circumstances.
  22. The holiday is ABTA and ATOL protected.
  23. The winner is responsible for all expenses and arrangements not specifically included in the prize.
  24. We will announce the winner via social media and winners will be notified within ten working (10) days of the Closing Date via email or the phone number provided. If we are unable to contact the winner or the winner fails to respond to us within five (5) working days of the original email/phone call, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and we will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
  25. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, we may, at our sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw. We reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so. Any Brewin Dolphin’s decision associated with this prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
  26. We will only process your personal information as set out in the prize draw entry form.
  27. This prize draw is governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
